Sales / Technical Engineer

NEVCO, a recognized leader in LED scoring and display technology, has an immediate need for a Sales/Technical Engineer at its headquarters located in Greenville, Illinois.


DESCRIPTION

  • Provide field-engineering support, engineering drawings, design improvements and structural suggestions.
  • Work with customers and design firms to seek mutual agreement on development of product needs. Advise engineering department on designs and consult on methods of manufacture.
  • Provide sales support to include consultation on new project product installations and expansion of products on existing installations.
  • This is a technical support role for our Sales force and their efforts with large project sales.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Confer with customers and engineers to assess installation solutions and product needs, and to determine customer requirements.
  • Design and manage the installation and deployment of our products.
  • Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry specific solutions.
  • Assist in the sale of products requiring extensive technical expertise and support for installations, and use and maintenance programs.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to existing customers and prospective customers.
  • A degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering required
  • 4 years of relevant or equivalent experience
